CAT4 Paper and Online Scoring. CAT4 scoring is done by a computer in both paper and online editions. The paper-based test scores are sent to GL Assessment and the scored reports are return to the school in up to fifteen workdays. The computer-based edition reports are scored automatically and receivable on demand.
The row of text beneath the four sets of battery scores gives the student’s mean CAT4 score: in this case, 107. This is derived by summing the student’s scores over all four batteries taken and dividing by the number of batteries taken – that is, (95 + 101 + 115 + 116) / 4 = 107.
Understanding The Cognitive Ability Test (CAT4) and doing something about it! COPD Assessment Test (CAT) Quantifies impact of COPD symptoms on patients' overall health. Use in patients diagnosed with COPD, to assess progression of lung disease, decline in functional status, and gauge effectiveness of pulmonary rehabilitation. Developed to address COPD burden in daily life, not to diagnose COPD.
The comparison of mean FEV 1%predicted with mean score of CAT groups 1(low impact level) to 4 (very high impact level) were 90.15±21.11 , 81.52±24.05 , 61.15±24.50 and 46.91±16.38 respectively (P<0.001). The mean FEV 1 /FVC in the CAT groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 was 64.46±11.37 , 65.25±12.74 , 59.05±13.03 and 49.73±7.82, respectively (P<0.001).
• A CAT score over 10 suggests significant symptoms. • A change in CAT score of 2 or more suggests a possible change in health status. • A worsening CAT score could be explained by an exacerbation, poor medication adherence, poor inhaler technique, or progression of COPD or comorbid conditions. An adjustment in therapy may be needed.
CAT scores go up to 300, though scores over 200 are very rare. Using 2015 as an example, we can see that a score above 140 put students in the 95 percentile (more on what this means in a moment). A score above 170 would have placed them in the 99 percentile—very competitive indeed!
The good CAT score differs for various tiers or the institutes that the candidates wish to apply for. For instance, if a student wants to apply for IIMs in that case, the ideal score to get qualified for selection rounds is a minimum 95 percentile. Whereas, there are other top B-schools like IIFT, IITs, FMS Delhi, SPJIMR, and so forth that ...
